Join us as we welcome Miles Medina to LEX Nightclub. This DJ and producer has had his tracks supported by industry heavyweights like GTA, Lil Jon and Diplo. The Bay Area native started entering battle and DJ competitions at 13-years-old and immediately impressed his audiences with routines. Not long after, he was given a guest spot on Club 949, a nationwide syndicated mix show on the Bay Area’s Wild 94.9. Medina’s guest spot landed him a weekly residence on the show and he became a Club 949 featured DJ.
We had the opportunity to ask him a few questions. Check out our exclusive interview with him below.
Q: Who influenced you to become a DJ?
A: Hearing DJs mix on the radio in the Bay Area. Also seeing DJs play at family parties or school events. It was the coolest thing I’ve seen as a kid.
Q: What excites you the most about DJing at LEX Nightclub?
A: The diversity of the crowd. I get to play all types of music which is a fun challenge.
Q: What is one track that never gets old no matter how many times you hear it?
A: “Weak” by SWV
Q: Who is your favorite non-DJ artist?
A: James Brown
