On Friday, May 15th, 2015, we welcome legendary EDM DJ TIESTO to perform Live at LEX Nightclub!
We had the opportunity to ask him a few questions about his notorious career. Check out our exclusive interview with him below!
LEX – You’ve accomplished so much in your career – what’s next on your bucket list?
TIESTO – I really don’t have one. Prior to this year I would have said winning a Grammy was right at the top. Fortunately, I was able to win a Grammy for my remix of John Legend’s “All of Me.” That was amazing and very rewarding.
LEX – Several artists name you as their biggest influencer. Who were your biggest influencers when you were first starting out?
TIESTO – There wasn’t really one artist per se. I think Holland was very influential for me becauuse dance music has a right history there and it’s part of the culture. So growing up there had a huge influence on me.
LEX – You undoubtedly have some wild fans. What’s the craziest encounter you have had with them?
TIESTO – My fans are crazy and pretty talented as well. I’ve had all sorts of handmade gifts and art given to me at shows and some of it is really next level. These are probably the craziest I get from fans on the road.
