Join us as we welcome Sacramento based DJ, DJ Oasis to LEX Nightclub. We had the opportunity to ask him a few questions. Check out our exclusive interview with him below.
Q: Who influenced you to become a DJ?
A: I was always into scratching and making beats but seeing Djs like AM & Jazzy flop their styles into the clubs I wanted to venture out to play live & try the clubs out.
Q: What excites you the most about DJing at LEX Nightclub?
A: Being able to DJ in one of the nicest venues in Reno and sharing the same stage as some of the industries elite.
Q: If you could be stuck in one decade’s music scene which decade would it be?
A: Definitely the 90’s! So much classic music and so many great artists came out then.
Q: What is one track that never gets old no matter how many times you hear it?
A: I think “This is how we do it” by Montell Jordan will last for ever and always work!
Q: Who is your favorite non-DJ artist?
A: Jay Z! He’s tested against the switch in styles of music through out the years, he’s battle proven & always figured out ways to stay relevant.
